Al-Ittihad, known as "The Tigers" or "The People's Team," is a Saudi sports club founded in 1928 in the city of Jeddah, making it the oldest club in Saudi Arabia.
They are well known for their passionate fan base, their chants, and for being one of the most successful teams in the region, with multiple national and international trophies. To reflect their rich history and the passion of their supporters, we refreshed their design across all platforms, from social media to merchandising.
The tiger’s claws
The tiger, along with all its symbolism of passion, strength, and power, is present through the patterns of its fur as well as the marks of its claws.
The main pattern consists of tiger stripes, used in combination with the team's color palette and a gritty texture. To enhance compositions and highlight key elements, we developed a library of various tiger claw scratches.
These elements shape a visual identity that represents Al-Ittihad’s traditional spirit of struggle and perseverance.
A typographic system to convey emotion to the world.
Bukra is the primary font used for large text, such as titles, in both Arabic and Latin alphabets.
Rubik is used exclusively for Arabic text in smaller sizes, such as paragraphs and secondary information.
Public Sans is the chosen font for small text in the Latin alphabet.
Through the design of multiple templates, we developed a multipurpose communication system where each format serves a different function: announcing match lineups, goals, results, news, signings, and more.
An app designed for fans’ passion.
Designed with usability as the top priority while still reflecting Al-Ittihad’s identity, the app offers an intuitive interface that ensures smooth and efficient navigation. This allows fans to quickly find all the information they need.
Al-Ittihad's broadcast pieces were designed to enhance the team's real-time communication, ensuring a dynamic and recognizable visual identity.
Templates were created for lineups, scoreboards, goals, and news, featuring graphics with tiger claw-inspired textures and a vibrant color palette.

Fans want to showcase their passion everywhere. The visual assets of this design proposal are ideal for creating a merchandising collection that spans different styles, from sportswear to casual apparel, everyday accessories, and premium collections.
This collection aims to position Al-Ittihad FC as more than just football, but as a brand that resonates with international audiences of all ages and across all contexts.
